| I keep coming back to this chapter, hoping to see more discussion on it, and being so disappointed. There was some absolutely insane implications from this chapter, that Dai Dark might be a secret sequel to Dorohedoro. You even see Chidaruma's face right before Damemaru is revived! This and chapter 27 both were all about exploring Damemaru's true identity, and it's honestly heavily hinted at that he is actually Chidaruma, and Nagurun is Holey. He even calls himself "Hell Master" for crying out loud! Chidaruma was the Ruler of Hell! Volume 5's opening page even shows what appears to be Chidaruma peaking out from inside Damemaru! Really wish more people would talk about this!  |
