I'm not always active, but I love manga and anime!
I am definitely open to more animanga suggestions!
My scores are just based on personal enjoyment and are subject to change.
Some lower scores may be outdated from years ago for series I may need to re-watch and refresh my memory, or give another chance.

That’s cool, starting Devil May Cry fresh might actually be the best way to enjoy it with no expectations. I haven’t watched the new one yet either, but the trailers had a slick vibe. The soundtrack choices you mentioned totally sold me too.
And yeah, the eternal struggle of the backlog… feels like for every show I finish, three more get added xD
As for favorites recently—Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End really stood out to me. It's slow and reflective, but the emotional weight hits surprisingly hard. There’s this quiet beauty in how it explores grief, legacy, and moving forward even when time feels endless.
Also really loved Yubisaki to Renren. Super wholesome romance with such a gentle tone. The way it handles communication and the relationship between Itsuomi and Yuki felt really thoughtful—sweet without being overly cheesy.
Tengoku Daimakyou was a wild ride. That one blends mystery, sci-fi, and some genuinely dark moments in a way that keeps you hooked. The worldbuilding’s fascinating, and the shifts between the two storylines are so well done.
And Undead Girl Murder Farce was such a pleasant surprise. Loved the unique setting—a mix of Victorian elegance, supernatural elements, and mystery. Plus, the banter between the main trio is gold. It’s stylish, witty, and feels different from most mystery anime out there.
And I have to mention Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. I didn’t expect to get that hooked, but the political intrigue, the clever writing, and Maomao’s sharp wit made it a super addictive watch. Can't wait for more of that world.
I've seen quite a few great anime lately, but if I had to pick one that really stood out, it’d definitely be Frieren.
How about you—any surprise favorites or something you didn’t expect to enjoy as much as you did?
As for me, I’ve mostly been keeping up with seasonal anime while also working through some older series I never got around to finishing. Trying to clear out my backlog, but, well… you know how that goes.
That's it for now cuz my hand is screaming in agony.
What kinda genres do you like most? If your fine with rom-com, slice of life or action stuff I could give some more. (If you want, that is)
