| Brain's base is a prime example of "the staff makes the studio" and not the other way round, and frankly since ~2013 they've been a shadow of their former self. Still, it's not like Geno Studio was a top tier studio or anything, they were pretty new and Golden Kamuy was their major title so far, which makes it slightly disconcerting they are no longer the ones behind the adaptation. Leaving the studio talk aside perhaps the main cause of concern is the Director change. And well, you can't really tell how it will pan out until it happens as @Scordolo pointed out. |

| frankly im more worried about the director than the studio. Geno wasn't great animation wise but man Nanba was good at it. The new director, while looking at his history, is looking pretty.... average at best. but hey, let's see when the pv drop first I guess. |

It’s always difficult to understand a studio change because there can be a lot of reasons why a studio is replaced and not all are negative. In this case if i have to bet, (so i don’t know the reason yet) it’s because making a 4th season of a really good but niche show, it’s not remunerative at all. So maybe or the animation studio need to start a new project to earn more, or the production wanted to spend less money for the same reason with a more experienced but average production value. This is what i thought, because i was even thinking a 4 season never would happen. Ahh, OK, well it wouldn't be weird if it was that then..:o> |

I don't remember what else they did back in the day... |

| ^ I'm not worried either.My experience with Brain Base is largly positive.They did a good job with Natsume Yuujinchou,Spice & Wolf 2,Drrr,Baccano,Mawaru Penguindrum and Fumetsu no Anata. |
