Look, i love this series deeply, and watched it when it first debuted. Personally i felt it ended nicely, although they left one of the main "bad guys" alive. The characters were all great, but the fact that Kotetsu's powers last like 5 seconds most likely mean he wont be "fully in on the action" and may be less of an mc (although he will still be in it a great amount just less.) Considering he is my favorite character i would hate to see him become a weak link for the team and get less part in the action.

I might be weird for thinking this but i personally think that if the screenwriters somehow "de-age" Kotetsu it would make the plot more interesting and would keep Kotetsu fully in on the action. (Also prob an unpopular opinion, but i did like the chemistry between him and karina). De-aging him would give me hope for the relationship that shouldn't be a thing, considering he is like twice her age by the end of the epilogue (that would be weird). This would also solve the "power problem" since it would hopefully rejuvenate the ability to use his ability for an extended period of time. Obviously they should only de-age him by like 5-7 years since it could make interactions weird between him and his daughter, along with other characters.. Its anime so i can only hope they do something totally far out there to grab our attention back to this fantastic series.

Based Opinion. I don't expect anyone to read this but wanted to vent, since im a sucker for Kotetsu's character in S1.

Actually I think Kotetsu will be the main focus as he tries to do as much hero business before his power disappears. Considering his icon suffered the same thing, I can imagine he will realise who Lunatic is and find out the truth of his father making Kotetsu feel closer to his childhood hero. Also with his daughter having powers he's going to teach her everything he knows and potentially be his successor. I can imagine the Kotetsu and Karina situation being handled by Kotetsu declining her feelings because he still loves his previous wife and doesn't want to see someone else close to him die horribly.

Your right, it will prob end with Kotetsu using "the last bit of his power" to help save the city or something like that. I can only hope that it's good and maybe we can get it renewed for another season. (I know i probably shouldn't hope for the Karina x Kotetsu thing, but im a sucker for fan service of that sort; although the age difference and their situations definitely make it impossible lol).

It definitely is a more serious superhero show with comedic moments, I can't see the de-ageing thing working because it doesn't make a lot of sense unless some random person with a de-ageing power suddenly shows up, but that will ruin the mood of the whole show for me and Kotetsu's development. The first season was mainly about Kotetsu and Barnaby's teamwork development and who killed Barnaby's parents. Season 2 should focus on Kotetsu trying to come to terms with eventually losing his power, training his daughter to potentially become his successor (if she wants to, I can see a whole segment where they argue about this) and finally revealing Lunatic's identity while also finding out about his father and how it shaped Kotetsu's entire reason for being a hero. There's a lot of stuff to work with.

Sounds about right on what they will most likely do lol. I can dream i guess though.
