The squid/ink puns in the dub of Squid Girl, can anyone explain what's being translated? Like, How do those puns work in the japanese dialogue?
| In the dub and subtitles, Squid Girl's every other line has her replacing another word with Squid or Ink. IE: "I'm only squiding around." or "You really ink so?" My question is, what's being translated here? Is she replacing certain words with Squid in her dialogue of the Japanese version? |
