Welp, the music and theatrical performance is back! One of the better performances imo as well. They're using a more light style chereography than the usual gothic themes.

Hell of a stage battle if you can call it that.

I actually love the opening song so much. anyways, things more to do with this episode:

- wow ok so apparently the opening was very relevant to this episode since they sang the song. visually, prefer how it looks with the opening but I think thats pretty normal, but it was still pretty decent, either way, was happy to hear it 2x in one episode.

- the fighting was quite good.

- when he restarted the song, that was pretty nice, aswell as it wasnt the same audio from the op or when the song played, it was a brand new audio so it sounded different, was nice to hear it more raw.

- ok, a new ed, didnt see this coming, was solid, I think I slightly prefer over the previous one.

Overall a pretty solid episode.

OZ'a first-ever concert in the Visual Prison for everyone except Guil, and rather than Guil taking matters into his own hands, his old Eclipse comrades Dimitri and Hyde does the favour for them. But if there's one thing that they need not to do, is old-fashioned promotion in a fully-digital world.

Robin kickstarts the ball rolling with an outdoor individual mob flash uncensored performance, and rake in those views with the amount of influence on his side. As expected, Guil anticipates Lost Eden's rebuttal, and it's a never-ending conflict.

It's showtime, and the ritual to the Scarlet Moon is traditional. Embrace for the OP and ED in Hypnosis Mic levels of CGI and intensity, though I find that HypMic does this formula somewhat better.

A good debut for OZ, and things are just getting started.

Awww my excitation was very high as usual, but for the first time I am a bit disappointed.
Like I really expected their first concert, the first time they will all unite their voice together with Ange's song.
But ... here was Shangrila Guil's song we already heard like too much since it's also the opening theme, and damn these CGI animation ... wasn't as intense as it should have been.

Also the transitions on this episode was super harshly cut, it really feel like they did a cheap budget episode.
And Musicians pop out of nowhere. Raaah they really should have made at least some minutes for them, introduce them or what...
Though I like Saga appearance and Rebellion's song was kinda refreshing to listen.

And that Robin Passage with his nissan was super chouuuu atsukashii "I'm the only one who can hurt you" hiiiii cringy cliché vibe haha. Robin loves his brother I get it but the cliché sentence was a bit out of place.
Usually I love forbidden love, and being a fujoshi I ship that, but the cliché was too much haha

And fighting scenes without singing ?
So many hole it's not funny...
I really hope they don't kill the series I enjoyed so much.

I thought it was weird to have swords along with microphones, I was wondering if they really fought, and that happened in this episode (it was also much more animated than many fight animes)

They played the opening and the ending in the battle, lost eden appeared while eclipse just watched drinking wine, they must have had fun

Saga has a big grudge with guil, hyde and dimitri, he handles it well outside of visual prison, mist seems to have a more personal issue with OZ than the rest of lost eden (elizabeth made their outfit and jack is brother of the robin, so it's more of a rivalry than something personal, except for eve who is a vampire hunter)

I keep wondering what the audience saw during this battle/show

I was pretty excited to hear the OP song be performed in this episode UNTIL I saw the horrific CGI. If they can animate the OP beautifully with them singing, why can't they do the same for their debut in the show? I had to skip the CGI lmao. Also, that golden bomber cameo moment was pretty funny! I listen to other j-rock bands but it was really nice to see an actual j-rocker be animated into an anime! I also loved how they introduced OZ for their performance, it reminded me of some j-rock concerts that I've been to in which their entrance is dramatic. I'm hoping the CGI can go away soon though.

Great episode! Oz made a great first debut. I really liked the fighting with swords then turning the tides with music. The CGI in the performance wasn’t the best it could have been though.

Looking forward to the next episode!

Fun episode starting off with Robin's street performance to excite the audience, to then seeing OZ's debut performance, the visuals were pretty

Watching OZ and LOST EDEN fight was quite a great one, can't wait to see them all go against each other

Ange's bit where he broke free was quite an impactful scene~

the action scene is the best istg. they animated it very well. eventhough the rating is half, but for me, this anime deserve more than 5. its cringe but good at the same time. always wait for the next episode.

Pretty cool episode. We're getting to see them finally perform and learning what the Visual Prison actually is.
I assume that only vampires can see the sword-mics coming out from their hands?

All performances are usually CGI in all idol shows. Even Idolish7 looked like this with some of their MVs when it began. There's way more where that came from.

Anyone else notice the plothole of how the promotional posters of OZ they posted in stores had already showed them in their OZ outfits before they had received their outfits from Beth? Guil seemed surprised to learn he had already been included in the wardrobe order when it arrived, so I have a hard time believing they had a promotional photoshoot in their OZ outfits beforehand, especially since the makeup scene indicated that the concert was the first time they had ever put on their OZ makeup. I usually try not to think too hard about the details in this series but I couldn't help but notice that.

I hadn't noticed this, what could have happened is that the guil contacted Beth to find out how the clothes will be (and with that I told him he joined OZ, since there's no scene like that in the anime) , if not, it was just an anime error

Little bit disappointed it was mostly the same songs again, but some excellent direction and synching in the main performance/battle sequence, as well as pretty strong frame and symbol work in the new ED. Overall, a decent excursion for the show.

Well I for one already loved Lain.

They pulled a mic out of their hands like that thunder god from GI does from her boobs!
It turned into a sword!
When they sang, they belt out the song into the hilts of those swords and swung them though it should have rightfully sliced their knees and heads multiple times.

This is hilarious X'D I'm honestly dying here.

I only just realized this sword thing is applicable to all other groups too HOW?!

Greatest episode so far.
I had more enjoyment with this one than all previous together.
Looking forward for more. Music, animation and anticipation for more "concerts" is keeping me here.

So we are back with the silliness, good, from Guil already having poster with them with their outfits and make-up to them getting to see their outfits for the first time and the protagonist learning how to do his make-up.

I liked the fight but is only two bands and everyone use the same type of sword so it can get boring very fast.
