I meant to say with that I would rather die a free man than live as an obedient yes man but I had just taken a Xanax so it didn't come out right and I've been to lazy to change it

The creators are different. Even if they weren't, both are based off Light Novels, so the artstyle would have nothing to do with who the author or authors were.

Well I for one already loved Lain.

I just find it funny you misspelt latter. I imagine you in a tense situation where you have to decide between death or living under an oppressive rule and then the camera pans out and your just walking off into the horizon holding a ladder.

The character designs are by Yuji Iwahara who did Darker Than Black which is pretty similar to Baccano, so I see where you're coming from.
