| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The New-Gen Dream Monkey girls have all grown up into high school, and the 5 girls are doing fine without Mami in the picture, and most conspicuously missing the 6th girl to take Mami's place: Yu Kiyose. Coach Yoko must've been waiting for this day long enough to mold them into actual Nikko Dream Monkey members. As it turns out, Yu once participated in ice hockey with a rival team (Kushiro Snow White), but fell out because of personal grudges and expectations from a national-class (U-16) ice hockey player. Well, just nice, coaches are best friends, and since Yu has moved into Nikko, Yoko has more of a reason to "push comes to shove" Yu into accepting her for a place in the New-Gen Dream Monkey team. The day of the physical (actual ice hockey playing) and mental (ice hockey set rules) tests, and Yoko is not letting the girls up, to go through rigorous training. To see the Senior team meet the New-Gen team, getting their advice is of utmost importance. This is especially true for Manaka's younger sister Ayaka who feels the pressure physically and mentally because of her weak constitution, and the other girls are supporting her from behind with the 100-lap endurance test. Teamwork makes the dream work to pass the test. Gliding along the ice smoothly, and one more thing left to do: recruit Yu Kiyose as Yoko would do by hook or by crook. |

| Mami is gone but the game must go on! I like Yu already. She's an interesting character. Ayaka is lucky to have such a supportive team alongside her. :)  |

| BUU BUU DESUWA wow the time-skip, I really wish Mami will return during this time-skip, but she doesn't return yet. Congratulations on passing the test. Now, it's time to convince Yuu to join the Dream Monkeys. She looks like to be a serious perfectionist type though, which is quite different from the main girls. It will be very interesting to see when they are on the same team. |

| Seems the new girl is a but to serious and has a short temper, guess this should be interesting seeing the personality of the other girls. It's also funny how she ignored the phone calls. What i am mainly wondering about is her reaction to the other girls, and the reaction of the other girls of course. |
| Skate around 18 km sounds like a hell of exercise. Yu love the game and is a hard carry. I like her, but I wonder how she will mix with the team that is fairly new. This anime is more hot blooded than i expected, which is a good thing. Specially the coach, recruiting Yu like that. |

| Ayaka is younger and smaller but she still succeeded the test, they all did it!! Yuu is kinda interesting, we'll see how OP she can be xD |

| Great episode! Seems the girls are fine without Mami. Ayaka is also struggling a bit with getting used to her gear etc but I’m sure she’ll be fine as she has started running to improve her endurance with her sister. The girls also met their senpais. New girl Yuu is likeable too. Looking forward to the next episode! |

| This was honestly the best episode so far. I disliked Coach Yoko for the first three episodes because I felt like she was just solely focused on making an Idol group. I even said before the episode started "Man she isn't she working on these kids conditioning." AND BAM Conditioning and training! She improved in my eyes. Little things I noticed that I loved. Naomi skating with he hands behind her back. I felt like that was very "figure skater-ish" Ice sounds were good. I thought Kaoruko's movements in net were fine. (I would have liked to see more) I like Yuu a lot. Her attitude is what hockey is all about. Yeah if you win it's great but if you win a sloppy game and you're trying to be the best in the world what is there to be happy about??? Mami will join the Snow White and play the Dream Monkeys whenever. |

| Really good and heartwarming episode! I didn't expect we'd get a little bit of time passing, but I really like it. They're now in high school, except for Ayaka. So Yu is super competitive, her criticisms of her teammates are fine, but she could have put it in a better way. I am sure she'll develop once best girl Yoko does her thing and successfully recruits her into the Dream Monkeys, the only question is how. I love how supportive the senpais are, no toxicity in sight. 100 laps ain't no joke, good job girls and of course Ayaka, really sweet how they waited for her, I feel ya Sato. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| I just want to have hockey Kageyama interacting with the other characters, her attitude is pretty entertaining and I hope it allows the pink haired girl to have a role other than existing. The Ayaka struggle was interesting, it is not out of the line of the things that one could expect in an anime of sports, to not say that is pretty cliche, but it played itself really good with the visual montages and her expression. The coach is for now my favorite character, but I hope the two faced attitude starts to diversify a little instead of falling into repetition. Really nice episode overall, it delivered more for me than the last one |
| first episode i liked quite a bit felt like a proper sports show and ohhh that youthful sportsmanship can make any coach cry but then i realized there's some hidden idol stuff lol |

It really was a pretty good episode though, I'm excited to see what happens with Yu and the others whenever they eventually meet up. |

| Skate 100 laps!! That's crazy even I couldn't do it and congrats to younger sister Ayaka and the other for passing the exam... Now, Yoko will recruit Yui no matter what since this once in a lifetime! |

| Nice to see the senpai's giving some tips to the gang (especially Manaka and Aya who really need it) in preparation of the tests. |
