I'm late to the discusson...because I was ignoring the episode but hey what a great episode. I'm surprised

Yaguchi-san, Art is an everchanging, diverse and impressionistic subject. Who am I to say anyways? I dropped it..Lol! To me, Yaguchi is somewhat of a genius with art. His art may not be impressive to TUA or Oba-sensei but it's impressive in some sort of way.

His Blue Dawn of Tokyo and Metal Bonds artworks are the best so far.

He seems talented to me; a natural, and doesn't even know it. His main problem is in thinking too hard about the technical stuff and not letting his heart move his hand a little more. He still has a lot to learn, yes, but he's good, even if he finds it hard to acknowledge that from time to time. The times he painted for himself, without thinking to much about TUA approval, were the times the paintings came out greater than normal.

yeah you're right. he is talented. And he shouldn't think to much and just paint what he feels. expecting to do well because of approval from a higher source and expecting to do well for your sake are two worlds apart. both intend to create different results. mostly satisfaction comes from the latter- for yourself.

It's really fun to see Yaguchi trying something different every time and failing at it. And, that's the way of improving yourself at something. Keep trying... and keep drawing. One art piece won't get you anywhere, so don't grow a big head. The representation is pretty cool in the art pieces as well. Thank you, Mori-Senpai again. I'm more concerned about Ryuji. What's going on with him?

My only concern about this show is the pacing, I don't know, it might just be me but things are happening really quickly. Pretty good episode btw.

Like how they handle the characters in this episode. It's the third time Kuwana stumbled on Yaguchi. Really weird how part of the episode feels very fast paced and then the next part feels normal and this is something that I am seeing with most of the episodes. Some off model characters here and there. Also, we got some Kuwana ass shots. That Kuwana's painting of sucking you in was really well presented. Next episode will probably be focused on drama.

Yaguchi is improving but he needs to get a better grasp of what's asked during the training exercises, though I still really liked the scene where he was painting with all the colors, also seems like Ryuji is having problems with his family uh, his dad is aggressive as f*ck

Yaguchi is slowly improving but he's a bit overconfident. That cliffhanger, huh.

Yaguchi's art on the f-100 looks really fantastic, I was glad to see him overcome the obstacle of what was missing thanks to seeing Mori-senpai's work but seems he still has some struggles considering he did a rehash for the contest.

"Remember, there's no such thing as "failure" in art." Now this is deep. I never thought about it from this point of view. Damn! This is such a good anime.

You can really feel the happiness and the frustration that Yaguchi experience through his art. I can see that Art is something indescribable and can only be felt.
