Sure we all agree this adaptation should at least get 50 episodes, but even still, if they stop after Coup, then have around 24-30 more episodes, that would at least be something. I never believed they would adapt the whole story in 12 episodes for starters, seemed way too DUMB. |

| Yeah I was also guessing 24 episodes. But if they can make even more, great. (Might even depend on the market reaction after the first cour?) I don’t know anything about Attack on Titans besides that the manga was heavily inspired by Alternative, and I see its new cours airing non-stop over a few years lol. People even suspected that one reason why they used such young VAs is for the series to continue for a while, if everything goes well. Steins;Gate was done in 24 episodes and the original VN was much shorter than Alternative, even then the adaption still skipped through quite some stuff. Alternative is so great exactly because of the incredibly detailed conversations and descriptions of inner thoughts. Though if they decide to present the story always from a third-person perspective and skip all of those, they can even finish it in 24 episodes as well. Hoping for at least 30/36 episodes, of course (with the second cour ending at the Sadogashima mission?) |

That one is a LN adaptation, much shorter source material to adapt. |

| Here's my take on this. After episode 3 I somehow think that this adaptation follows the Muvluv Alternative manga, and that they'll attempt to cover 1 volume in 2 episodes. Episode 2 and 3 covers all of volume 1 (minus the beach scene but it got covered in episode 4), and episode 4 already cover half of volume 2. If it's true, and they stick to this, then 12 episode will covers up to volume 6, which is where the 12/5 arc ends. And if they stick with this rule for the next cour, if there's any, then they will reach volume 12, which is also where the ends. |

I don't think they will necessarily adapt everything though, there's a pretty good end point at what would be the end of cour 2 (better than what they will likely end the first one on at least) thanks 3 cours will be great |
