| I don't think this manga is long for the world as well, which is a shame because this is a solid manga. Unfortunately, its flaws are pretty noticeable. The story and setting are extremely generic and unexciting, and this manga mainly shines on how well the author makes interesting characters and dialogue. |
| I feel like this series is wrapping up very soon, I'll be surprised if this lasts more than 21 chapters. |

| Candy Flurry has been pretty consistently at the bottom of the TOC for awhile now, and the story now pitting Tsumugi vs. Amato already seems like a pretty good sign this series is over for. That, or it's rushing in a desperate attempt to improve it's ranking, but I'd wager it's more likely the former). This chapter unfortunately just reeks of rushing to a conclusion, and it's hard to view it under any other lens. To be honest, there were points where the only reason I kept reading was because it seemed like the series was heading for an early ending. I think Candy Flurry has some good stuff, I like Tsumugi as a lead character and the series had some amusing moments, but when it came to crafting strong shonen moments or compelling action, I don't think it ever really succeeded. A bit too boilerplate, a bit too dull, and a bit too easy/quick. Like this whole Recette going after Tsumugi thing is resolved because Amato showed himself. And while the design almost certainly influenced by the series low popularity and likely cancellation, it still unfortunately hurts the work. And I'm not sure if the decision to just bypass the exam they set-up was influenced by that too, but that was also pretty weak. Also, in love with the design of the chocolate bars user, shame she probably won't get much attention but that kind of gothic Mary Poppin look with the hat/dress/umbrella thing is really cool. |
| overall liking this fast pacing but honestly it really looks like an axe for this one since it's not selling very well and now tsumugi already fights the culprit fom tokyo's destruction next chapter probably |
