With the first 2 aired episodes of Kaizoku Oujo (fena the pirate princess) last week, i remembered how much i love this type of shows. Main questions i have are is there enough content for a season 2 in the source mateial, and if there is a similar show to yona or fena since i like them a lot

Well if you are interested in yona season 2 then there is so much content in manga (212 chapter ) as anime covers around 47 chapters of manga
You can read the manga

And for fena the pirate princess i really don't know cause i haven't watched it yet

Art - 8.5/10: Nothing special aesthetically, though charming. Pretty, sparkly shoujo moments are cute, though are pretty much gone by episode 4 or so, aside from the occasional flashback. Movements/choreography are very good.

Story - 10/10: trust, betrayal, political intrigue, conspiracy, and one hell of a destiny/chosen-one adventure tale. Reminds me a bit of the Zelda video game franchise

Plot - ?/10: good pacing throughout the first half. story development is handled well as far as different points of view, timing of certain events, etc. Grey morality is explored, but without a second season it will be for naught

Characters - 9/10: Note: this is a reverse harem, to some extent. They handle it well, and keep it under the radar, especially compared to Ouran Koukou (which you seemed to like) The main male lead Hak is obvious female eyecandy, but like I said, female fanservice is handled well in this series. All the characters are fairly dimensional, but not without a few cliches (which are unavoidable in this 2015th year of our lord Sir Jesus Muhammad, the Dalai Llama)

Sound: 10/10 (if you like traditional and orchestrated music) - That's pretty much it. It matches the series perfectly, and also matches the scenes very well. serves to add feeling or emphasis and cool tone changes for a certain character's signature gaze

I didn't mind that Hak and Yona didn't kiss. She just lost her home, her father and, her first love Su Won. I don't think that Yona would get over that so easily. Yona needed to process her emotions and come to terms with it before she can think let alone look at anyone else with a romantic sense. Also if Hak was to initiate a kiss on Yona after all of that and unload his feelings on her, it would just be cruel and unusual punishment. Yona has never seen Hak in a romantic sense and it would have just shattered her completely and ruined their relationship.

I love this show and we to explore so much more. It needs a season 2. The end of Season 1 just cracked open the potential of what these characters could be and are capable of. I also didn't get nearly enough Jeno. I love him.
