I hate this show so much it actually makes me feel ill whilst i watch it.
Im convinced this has to have been written by a 12 year old. Theres almost no tension and the mc is given everything, including woman, for simply existing.
Just go and watch any of the love live series, theres more tension, drama, character development and the girls have to shed infinitely more blood, sweat and tears just to receive the recognision to pursue their dream
What a headache

So much agree.

Kirito Rio has not a single default, he's too bland. And too powerful at only 12 years old. . .
The speed at which he threw away his past life, like "Oh, ok, I had a mother in this life, I want to know my new family. I never see again my past family ? Doesn't care."
25 kilos on his back? At 12 years ?
All girls around him at his young age.
And why all hybrids are using "-sama" with him ? With all these horror commited by humans ?

Plus this rush in the timeline.

Ok, so Rio officially now has a Demi-human harem, but what did those 2 bad guys took from that cave and what were they planning to do with it?

the harem is STILL growing, wouldn't be surprised if the "person spirit" inside him is also a cute girl for his harem. probably his mother tho

Yeah this is like the biggest crime of the whole series. Even in the LN, there is like no explanation.

Nearly rofled when the conflict copies ep1 exactly up to the prisoner part, but points for making that complete opposite aftermath. Kirito goes from a bullied refugee to a saint with a real nice house with free servants. Birdbrain who couldn't follow orders is the exception.
why bean bags?
Pasta, now rice, waiting for soysauce or mayonaise.
The dream/spirits part quite interesting, tho should spread out all this worldbuilding.

The protagonist’s (lack of) reaction to being falsely accused again really annoyed me. It was nearly exactly the same as what happened in the human kingdom with the princess, but instead of being angry or at least distrustful after experiencing the betrayals he suffered earlier, he just completely brushed it off. And then got handed a generic harem for no reason.

This show was like a less-infuriating Kenja no Mago for me up to this point, very disappointing to see it go down this route.

A misunderstanding led to him achieving new girls for his demi-human harem. Sighed at the high-class spirit hidden in his body. How bloody original.

Cool, thanks for skipping over all the stuff he learns, both on-screen and off. It won't be jarring when he pulls out a trick we've never seen him do before. Not one bit.

I don't how they did it but they created a language that can't be distinguished by normal means. I read it was like they reverse the audio while they're talking.

Finally, the story is really happening and getting animated.

I can't get enough of the OP, it is really nostalgic in some ways that it makes me teary... >.<

Yes, that pink-haired girl is finally revealed since episode 1, she has a cute and lovable voice. At the end of that scene, his childhood friend--I could tell but maybe I'm wrong... let's leave it at that for now...

What I really like in this episode was the part when he finally succeed going into the tree. Typical plot to add nature into fantasy but I don't dislike it and then the scenery behind everyone of them is good, the trees and the like.

While the action scenes isn't that great at speed, the normalcy of that speed is good enough to be entertaining and the skills/tricks's animation can be seen clearly.

I'm glad that I can see the folks and the people of the tree animated and colored and most importantly, added a VA. Especially, Dryad or Druad-sama. The humanoid deity of the tree, that smirk or smile while she is staring at Rio!, I want more of it---ahem...

While I am not really thrilled that the story skipped the daily life of Rio and Latifa below the Tree (whatever it was called), I was entertained!
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Honestly quit watching at like ep 3 or 4. Isekai called me back to this anime and i tried ep 5 but its a disappointment. He gets captured again by unreasonable pricks that don't check the situation and believe on their bias. That is still ok till this part but he doesn't even fight back. He can see with spirit arts just nothing detailed like appearance. Instead we still get this naive idiot who can't fight for himself and its like a repeat of the earlier episode. Naivety is so annoying. You'd think he would be more mature after what he's gone through but alas. Of course we're not talking about killing his enemies like those edgy people. He didn't even fight nor did he run and just leave it to her to explain it to them when she woke up. It could have been done better.

Deja vu seeing Rio suspected and captured for kidnapping a kid once again. Good thing this time he doesn't get beaten but actually gets an apology.

Sara and Orphia also cute in this one. ヾ(^▽^*)))
Too bad they had to cut down most interactions with them to progress the story faster.

Fucks sake more girls who jump to conclusions without listening to his explanation. MC needs to beat them to understand since words don't work.

Nice to see the girls apologised and realised their mistake

The village of spirits is a nice place, everyones so nice.

Ending song hits home as usual

Onto the next episode

Eh and it seems that the beast girls here are very strange and do not want to hear a word from what poor Rio says and attacks him mercilessly. 😂😭 However, after he wakes up, he and Latifa apologize, but they are so ashamed of what they did. 🤭💙 But even those in power behave so strangely and he tells them not to, but the great spirit thought it was something wow and dreaded, but she is just an extremely strange girl like the rest of the village. 🤭💙

Rio really needs to stop saving young maidens in distress, cause he's 2 for 2 with getting blamed for what happened to them.

He even knows to throw spaghetti whole without breaking them, such mannerism.
So why use the spoon in the other episode to roll them? I still physically cringe when I remember that scene, ughhhh...

Decent episode, Rio and Latifa are having a great time in the spirit village and outside of it, there is a mysterious scheme going on.

I give this episode 6/10.

Today I started watching Seiken Gakuin no Makentsukai, a new airing Fall 23, watched for 5 ep and was disappointed, BLAND characters, very boring to watch.

This show here, as the one above is very generic and trope filled, YET enjoyed this significantly more.
Far from boring, I m seeing the harem cast slowly going, having checked the LN Wiki, and I m very pleased, most of the girls seems to have something going for them and I dont dislike this MC either.

Both series tackle similarly structured plotlines, but when done like this, there is always something interesting me.

EP 5

Oh yeah ep 4 ended on some weird shenanigan

So thats the ep. to be honest ep 4 was one thing but this ep felt like its a totally different anime. i think most of the girls have shown up now since they dropped like four girls on us in one ep. and we dont even know their names

Well next ep. at least it seems like the plot is going quite fast now, so after 3/4 eps of introduction. Not sure when we'll see celia again though, probably not next ep, so either ep 7 or 8? Kinda weird unless he immediately does a u turn back now, and even then he would need some reason, since he still has to finish going to wherever he was going.

Typical trope of "all girls love the MC on first sight" , and like how they easily asking apologize to him are just BS, lol.

this show sure has a lot of trash personalities in it, not saying the show is bad by any means, however. just that everyone MC meets excluding literally 4 people to this point are absolutely garbage. reminds me to much of the real world. full of trash so damn bad it's rare to meet a person worth knowing.
