| I can't remember if Ruska's spirit gun was ever hinted at so I went and checked the chapter where he lost his fingers at and it wasn't there. Maybe it was at some other point in those first 30 or so chapters I read a couple months ago and I just remember but having the climactic finishing blow against the big bad being some move that was never hinted at is sort of cheap. This series was never about action, or even feature that much of it, so it's not a big deal and it's believable that such a function would've been added but it did suck away the enjoyment of the scene for me. I do like that Kepler wanted to die though, and thanked Ruska for. And that Chandra & Enrico returned to complete the gang once more. |
