| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Kiyo's daily prep of being the assistant of a Maiko. It's tough work, and work-life balance is very tightly packed from food preparation to doing housework, day in and day out. Having given a day off, the first thought that is on Kiyo's mind: to go back home and make homemade curry, because it's forbidden and breaking Maiko traditions if otherwise done back in the Maiko House. It's easy to mistake that Kiyo's happiness might be misunderstood for a date. It's snowing in Kyoto, and memories resurface of their past at home. Kenta and Sumire's competitiveness vs. Kiyo's easy-going snow-shoveling clearance, better not spend too much effort on that. To have hot Hitsumi soup to calm the cold senses, that's the gift that keeps on giving after a tired day. |
