| It definitely is supposed to be, but the last episode had the protagonist making some really questionable decisions which serve as extremely impractical advice to the viewer. And it's only one episode, overall the series has been very iyashikei so it's all good. |

I personally felt relaxed/soothed the whole way through, but then, I found Koguma something like my spirit animal. |
| I think it does qualify as Iyashikei. Koguma is a broken child at the beginning of our story: abandoned by her mother, poor, impoverished. The Super Cub is an instrument of healing for our orphaned Koguma. And many episodes provide a comforting, relaxing mood for the viewer. Some anime might be described as being in the Iyashikei genre. This one might be described as having Iyashikei as a theme. |
