I still got 2 videos of Ashita no Joe, on my channel. I think... ------------------- When megalo box came out I was shocked cos I really wanted to see what they created for joe's 50th anniversary. the first season was 8/10 but after season 2 came out, I'm watching it and it's 9.5/10 for me now. both seasons. let's see I might give it 10 if it ends properly. like anj. it keeps getting darker... let's see if it can become as dark as Ashita No Joe I really think this Joe gonna die in the ring IDK maybe cos Ashita no joe had so much effect on me or just it's just a vibe idk. Ashita No Joe is something way too much special to me... It is more than just a manga or anime. I can't compare it. for me anj is a goat. |

Yeah, exact same here. I had s1 of Megalo Box rated as 8/10 but after watching some of s2 I upgraded them both to 10. It just didn't feel complete at first and was not as dark as AnJ, so I could not count it as a proper tribute but now it seems like everything's coming together. And speaking about scores... my 10 is more light than yours, I believe. Not all 10s are my favorites though. I may revisit or talk about my 8s, 9s and 10s from time to time but the favorite ones are in my head daily. So far, only Ashita no Joe and Cowboy Bebop have managed to get in there. P.S. Can't comment on your profile, so I'll ask here. Do you have an HD version of your avatar? |

Anime literally has to be PERFECT so I can score 10. my 10s are animes/mangas that are deep in my heart and head. literally made me cry, excited and I will always remember all of my 10s animes MASTERPIECE. I can't score 10 If anime is not perfect and can't touch my heart. It is really hard for "ANIMES" to be on my list and be scored 10 tho :D if you check my 400+ animes and scores you will understand. Megalo Box pretty much will get 10 maybe idk. episode 7 was great as the previous ones every episode is great. it becomes much better and better, as well as darker! so I'm excited. P.S well you can add me in ur friend list so u can comment :DD i'll find it and will send you. |

But it kinda changed after watching Ghibli movies. You just can't score them lower than 10. Almost every single one of them is made straight out of heart but there's also quite a few of them. I can't just favorite them all, right? :D There's also some brilliant shows like Dr. Stone, Vinland Saga, JoJos, etc. that are insanely enjoyable, so can you really score them less than 10 if they managed to excite your days when nothing else did? The 9s and 10s in my list were a temporary bliss, so to speak. Favorites are forever though. |
