So is this a sequel or a redo? I'm confused because in S1 Manager already conquered both Shiori and Yui. They were already regularly taking turns banging him. So why did he need to convince her again in this episode? It's as if events from last season didn't happen

It's a sequel. At the end of episode 6 of season 1, you can tell that Yui isn't actually fully conquered. She had the upper hand at the end of it by blackmailing the MC back so he couldn't do whatever he wanted with her. In this sequel you start to learn that the MC loses the upper hand he had over the girl and the girls started treating him badly. This is more specific toward Yui. So this is when he starts to plan his revenge so he could get back his original position.

Amma need to go rewatch the first season. Because the plot is the important part, obviously XD

I distinctly remember scenes where Yui was mildly bullying Shiori at one point trying monopolise MC's.. attention, and another where she told MC that he doesn't need shiori as Yui can provide everything and she alone would be enough.

btw how did she blackmail him again?

So unless I missed something Yui knew who the new spot was being given to so what was the point of her being a slave and she knew the owner from the daughter anyway. She turned into a masochist way to easily
