| Mixed feeling about 1st episode. I was actually partially entertained because story and characters are actually good (I read the manga already) but the visual direction lacks in some areas and it´s not only the cgi that is bothering me. |

| I do not dislike the visuals. And I like the Roman setting and the looks of the city and the characters. (Clothing, etc.) But the pacing seemed fast. Could have explained a bit more about how Cestvs got enslaved. And why the trainer seemed to specifically only focus on him. Maybe we will get a flashback episode later. |

| The fights are nice and fluid, and the movements are accurate. The art ends up looking a little weird that we are used to because of the CG, but it's just different. |
