| So the girl who told Fuutero she was Rena was actually Itsuki. Ichika is now more annoying than Nino. Yotsuba is underhanded herself as she got a date from Fuutaro withour ever realising it. |
| cool stuff, Futaro saying he had no idea who handsome Takeda was funny, he says he is focused on getting the highest score possible and not caring about the other students below him lol. That put Takeda into some shock, so much for his rivalry with Futaro because it doesn't exist for Futaro. Quite ambitious for Futaro to score in the top 10 in national mock exams to prove to Takeda that the quintuplets are not holding him back. Futaro tried to talk to Miku about his encounter with "Miku" over Ichika liking him, only for Ichika to show up and Futaro to walk away. Ichika lets all the quintuplets know to scrap the idea of giving him a birthday gift so he can focus on his studies so Ichika can be the only one to give Futaro a birthday gift. Nino however is unstoppable and gets a gift anyway, with Ichika encountering Nino with that gift. The battle for Futaro's love really picking up steam. Poor Yotsuba crying when she made paper cranes for Futaro only to be reminded to not give him anything until after the exams. However, they all did make a paper crane (a symbol of good luck) for him and left it on the table where Futaro was sleeping and recovering from his studies for the mock exams. He actually places in 3rd, Takeda is impressed, and the quintuplets gave him gifts. I would have loved to see his reaction to all the gifts though. Miku trying her best to make an edible and nice croissant at the bakery, with Yotsuba being supportive. The lost image of young Futaro has resurfaced and fell out of Itsuki's box of stuff, oh dang. Yotsuba and Futaro at the swings was sweet, with the beautiful view of the city and the lights representing a family living in their home is what makes Yotsuba very warm and happy. Futaro fully upside down on the swing trying to jump from it was funny and strange, even Futaro himself was laughing happily. Love how Yotsuba got some good screen time in this episode, she is sweet and selfless. Yotsuba tried to propose that the rest of the quintuplets become a group with Futaro, with Yotsuba herself being excluded. Nino really wanted to pair up with just Futaro for a date. Miku's menacing reaction to Nino calling him Fu-kun though, especially with her eyes being black, the battle is really on. In the end, Futaro made a group for the class trip with some other boys while the quintuplets stayed together. Nearing the end of this season, things are about to get real. |
| Rena was Itsuki all along which is kind of obvious but not that obv ofc. |
