| At the beginning of the story Olivia is the one that gives him hints of how to use the skills effectively so it’s not like Noir is clever enough to fully exploit his Sage power or to think about them on his own. You are giving him too much credit considering that he is just a self insert MC and you should not take the story that seriously. He does free her later in the LN if that is what you are bother with. It’s Spoilers the HOW it happens though. Up to this point where the Anime is currently at it just might seem forced or baring a Pseudo Deus Ex Machina territory. Olivia is best girl indeed, mainly because is the only one with an actual personality instead of just being a character archetype. Plus she is the hottest one and the most beautiful of them all. |
