| I actually kinda like the characters, but everything surrounding them is mediocre. The food-relation of the issues is just to make things look unique, while Ramune always just gives people an item that leads them to discover their problems on their own. That's not made better by having the problems so damn easy to solve. It feels like it wants you to guess the problems, but then it makes it just too obvious on what these problems are. Why does popcorn come out of Shuu's head? You are telling me that his father doesn't want him to be creative anymore? There you have the solution. This guy has a fishstick as his penis? He's banging multiple chicks without them knowing? Of course that's the solution. SPOILER WARNING (Skip to next paragraph if you haven't watched Bunny Senpai): I also wasn't the biggest fan of Bunny Senpai for similar reasons (though I loved the movie), but at least that one had better writing and you didn't know the problem from the start. It again wanted to look at social issues in a creative way and it absolutely succeeded at that, but the solution was always just "you gotta talk with someone" or in that one case "you gotta shout about it". Then the movie showed how it could have actually been handled. So while I continue watching Ramune, I feel very disappointed in how easy everything about it is. There are likeable elements, but it just doesn't feel interesting to me. |

| Rating are only rating, this is very good anime. I don't pay big attention to them. Because some animes with rating above 8 or 9 are boring for me & ones with lover that 7 or 6 can become the ones from my top list. So I can say that this is very interesting anime for me and one of few from this season that I'm watching right away after simulcast. I will be missing watching this on Sunday morning. |

spaesu said: imo Jibaku-shounen Hanako-kun is nothing like this.cause its kinda boring episodical story and the characters and stuff aren't very interesting either. i'd suggest reading (or watching if you dont like manga) jibaku shounen hanako-kun if you like stories like this, it's pretty much just this but better @AmeyaPalvankar If OP likes this show and want similar ones, I recommend you "Natsume's Book of Friends", "Mob Psycho 100", "Kamisama Kiss", and "Hell Girl". |

But you can always trust high rating shows. |
