I just think it's funny how after almost 2 years someone decided to make 600-700 accounts to upvote the positive reviews. Guess not everyone can handle people disliking their favorite anime. Anyways cheers to the reviewers who got their reviews on the front page.  |

| MAL is never gonna be able to do anything about it properly. With individual rating bots, it is much easier to handle. However, with upvote bots for reviews, I guess it’s hard for them to trace and track them down because anyone can just press “Helpful” on a whim. As for the show itself in question, it’s fine....s1 at least, imo. |

| I guess I can't really say much because I'm one of those reviewers but I did find it odd that my review which had been sitting at 36 upvotes for nearly 2 years suddenly shot up to 699 upvotes within a month. It had to be someone thinking "MUST MAKE SURE PEOPLE KNOW THIS IS BEST ANIME EVAR!" and vote up anything that is a 10, case and point. I mean I love The Promised Neverland and it's one of my top 5 favourite anime but you ain't seeing me going to every forum going, "YOU MUST LIKE THIS SHOW YOU UNCULTURED SWINE!" That would just make me come across as an obnoxious d*ck. |

| Haha, just realized this happened. Well, there goes my top 4 review on the show lol. It's funny and I'm happy for the people in the top now. But it just goes to show yet again how broken the MAL review system is. Oh well, we're just reviewing for fun anyway, so it doesn't really matter. But hey, Mr. Bot-San! I gave the show an 8 you know? Isn't that high enough to gift me 700 helpfuls too!?!?!? XD |
