That tournament day also happens to be Rei's birthday. Well, we got the appearances of the competitors and it looks tough. Joutarou looks very determined though. I think with the buildup to this point, there's a lot for everyone to show what they can do to the world, especially Leo. Impressive performance imo. |

| lol @ the text messages between the coach and his son/daughter. Daughter's b-day, huh. Oh, no. Ninja actor found out through the newspaper. Hirakawa-san's character is KajiKaji's character's coach. Also other new characters, who are also main guy's opponents. Yoshino-san's character has more fans, lol~ KajiKaji's character is #1 as expected, and Main character improved from #15 (day 1) to #6. Main character's next training is in China, but the date... he cannot be w. her (and when Ninja actor seems to be obeyed three men/women in black and disappeared). |

| A coincidence? The NHK Cup competition and Rei's birthday ON THE SAME DAY, what are the odds. Coach Amakusa's conversation with his daughter, A TOTALLY BOOMER THING...if by early 2000s standards. The display of various gymnasts along with Minamino and Jotaro, a hard-fought battle of techniques and skill from expertise, just like the feeling of the Olympics. The moment when BigBird sang...LMAO. How am I to wrap around this crazy bird... Minamino's presence might've just spelled trouble for the competitors, and not just by pressure alone, it's more like a stepping stone for the up-and-coming Bandana Prince, who as usual, claims the pole position. Jotaro coming in at 6th place is no slouch either, but coming in afresh is a good step in the right direction. Leo is facing trouble from PIB (People-In-Black) who recognized him, but what could it be from a disappearing act of the Ninja? Meanwhile, a potential joint training collaboration with China's top gymnasts, and Jotaro...what's going on in his mind with concern to Rei? I really wonder where this story is heading... |

| Ah, Jotaro has been lost for the first time he came back after his announcement of retirement retraction. Well, its not too bad, actually. Because his current ranking was increasing after having a bad start at the first day. And Jotaro pretty much enjoyed his good progression. Still, Minamino tsundere and haughty personality was not so good for him, and already bragged a hatred toward his surrounding. Well, i am really hoping to see his development of personality. But before that, something happened to Leo as he already been found out by his pursuer. Well, well, he was decided to left Aragaki family without informed them in a proper information. It seemed he won't cause any trouble for them again. But, at the same time, he was already leaving a sadness on Rei's heart, and making a things so difficult for Jotaro. Yes, without his realization that Leo had a possibility to missing forever, he might chose a difficult choice on his way to reach his comeback acknowledgement. Lets see his decision; to chose between his family, or his career via that joint training, that looks like all of them were so important. So, yeah, really looking forward to it! |

My bet goes to Leo being Russian, he's being pursued by some strange guys kinda like some kgb agents, and their currency is the Ruble. However the case, it's getting interesting. |

| Really great episode, I really like Leo and Rei's sibling relationship. The competition was great too, the animation was really fluid. There was some cg but it was done pretty great. I also like that Jotaro was just chilling in the competition lmao. Damn, what is Leo is he an immigrant or something or something bigger. Though that's some horrible timing though. Leo's gone and Jotaro might go to the training camp, press F for Rei :(. I hope Jotaro chooses Rei's birthday that would be nice. |

| Tetsuo continues to be an annoying brat, I see... Overall, nice competition episode but honestly, I didn't get the point of not showing Joutarou doing some of the disciplines after all the hard work he has been doing. So yeah, I'm kinda disappointed in that regard. Anyways, I'm glad he managed to reach the 6th. place and now has the chance to go to an important training camp. As for that, the camp being on Rei's birthday is contrived as hell because of course it has to be but leaving that aside, I wonder what Joutarou will do. |
| I SO want Jotaro to beat that edgelord... he's so unlikable. It was pretty predictable that he would have something to interfere with her daughter's birthday. I'm interested to see how that would turn out, though. |

| Oh no. Joint training will coincide with Rachel's birthday. Leo vanished to "train." I think Leo is an important athlete, a top gymnast of a country perhaps that's why there are bodyguards. If that's the case, Leo and Jo will surely compete in the upcoming world gymnastics competition.  |

I'm gonna be really disappointed in Jotaro if he doesn't spend the day with Rei for her birthday. He's hardly around to with her most of the time so it'll be heartbreaking if he breaks the birthday promise. |

| When Rei and Leo were walking, their conversation was so cute and touching. I really hope everyone's at home during Rei's birthday... It has been so long and they're still not disclosing Leo's backstory. Just who are those black suit wearing guys? I feel like Leo's some kind of really popular gymnast or something... When the coach showed the chat, was Joutaro having trouble reading those short forms? XD I like the gymnastic animation. It felt realistic. |

Our favourite ninja kept disappearing out of the blue, but this time, it's getting very suspicious >_< Leo must be hidding something... I feel like he also does gymnastics and might compete with everyone >>; (please prove me wrong...) Those treesome guards must be there for a reason and I can't wait to find out what's going on! | Can't help feel that if MAPPA had put a little more effort into the animation side of things, this could've been much better. The CGI was decent but still. I knew that birthday was going to get screwed up. Rei probably just wants an entire day for herself and seeing as how she's been holding up, she deserves it. Hopefully things go well. |

| I think this episode was very rushed, we didn't see Jotaro doing something at the tournament and we have so many subplots: Leo's mystery, Rei's birthday, Minamino character and of course the joint training. They shoud chill a bit with the pacing. |
