| I'm guessing its not gonna cover the rest of the story since it's only 24 eps but I've seen shittier adaptations so how much you guys think it's gonna adapt. Unless, it already said it somewhere and I just missed it. Also, really hope they focus on the earth cult the least they can, shit was so bad. |

| If it is really 24 episodes ... then novels 3+4 (out of 10). 1+2 have been adapted with 1-cour series + the movies (which were also released as a series of 1 cour). |

I think they'll pull it off well, the first season didn't cut anything too relevant out. My only gripe with it was the Klopstock incident being left out, it was a better introduction for Braunschweig and Flegel than the remake making them kinda just pop up when the civil war in the Empire starts. |

| Each of the previous seasons covered one book, this being twice the length means it will likely cover two books. Not impossible that they might speed through it and do a third, though, which would put them halfway through the series. |

| Digging through Wikipedia, I actually believe it'll cover the entirety of the second part of the OVA (episode 27-54, 28 episodes in total), as the first two seasons of the remake (24 episodes total) covered the first part of the OVA (26 episodes, volumes 1&2 of the novels). Well its a direct translation of the LNs from what I heard I never actually sat down and read them as I do not have time to. The original OVAs did have scenes and moments that wasn't in the novels, but it added more depth to the characters from what I heard there is actually a YT video showing LN text, 1980s OVA, and the current reboot showing the differences between the three. This is that certain Kircheis scene. I watched the OVAs before this and I say its worth a watch aside from some of the generic character designs I was pleasantly surprised at how well Production I.G is adapting it. |
