| Ok for me it was first meh chapter ... like clearly this chapter was made so ending/axe would feel natural but still nothing "remarkable" happened, like I was reading and felt nothing... he just spend 34 years making White Knight and 18 other series and Oda is drawing One Piece for over 20 years. Sasaki did what Metro Man at the beginning of Megamind or Professor Paradox in Ben 10: Alien Force. If I was WSJ's chief-editor or whatever and seeing all bad publicity I would give author and manga another chance eg on Jump+ and suggested time travel to the end of second chapter so Sasaki could tell her truth but now successful. | What an exciting and daring chapter. I figured he'd stop time for a while, but 34 years in frozen time drawing, researching, reading, and re-drawing over and over again is extreme dedication. But it seems that Teppei learned something in his time alone, all this time he was drawing for Aino, when in reality he should have been drawing for himself the whole time. That's what was holding him back. I'm genuinely curious on where this is going to go moving forward. Honestly this feels like the last few chapters simply on how things are going. Perhaps the author always intended this to be a short series? I think at this point the only issue I have the lack of showing that Teppei is getting better, rather than just telling us he is. It makes for a more compelling narrative. Regardless, I'm really excited to see what's next. |

Mine and lot of others' is that it's underrated and Japanese don't like the beginning because it started with plagiarism which is really sensitive theme after the fire-raising case of KyoAni in last year. After that they didn't follow it that's why this series unpopular. If you don't like it then go and read some "good" ecchi or wannabe gag... This series not for you. |

| Well none of this seems healthy. Also I have my doubts, even with reference material, that someone could write that greatest manga ever without feedback in some form. But I understand it's just wrapping up. A manga competition sounded like a fun idea. So I hope this mangaka comes back some day with more great ideas/artwork. Although maybe he shouldn't do it solo |

This series problem is that it don't know what i want to be. It failed at been a romcom, a mystery series, a drama or a science fiction. People have problem with how the MC plagiarism was potrait.The story keep trying to find reason to justify it, as if what the MC is doing is noble and right. heck there a frame where the MC determined to tracing the original work and it treated like your typical Shounen MC triump moment. That what turn people off, not the plagiarism but the series trying to justify plagiarism. imagine Death Note where the narrative framed that Light is doing the right thing. I admit it have a neat idea, but ideal can only take you so far, you need good writing too. The manga failed to created natural conflict or any conflict for that matter. MC and the main girl whom he stole from could created a great conflict, but the author decided for the main girl to say: "Lol, okay." and move on. Lastly the character is just horrible. MC lack any interesting quality. Anti-hero or villain can be make fun and engaging but this MC is just a mess. This is the resolve of the author want to have his cake and eat it too. He want the MC to do unethical things but still want to preserved the MC as a perfectly good guy. |
| This is probably the best chapter so far. I'm actually mad at the Japanese audience for hating on the series for no good reason. There is no reason for this to be at the bottom of WSJ, it is much stronger than many of its other ongoing series right now. |
