| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Muraken kept this episode afloat. I didn't realize how much I liked his voice until now. So apparently Masamune isn't American, but Japanese that moved to America. And he met Zeo and Tobi at the bayblade dojo run by the Mr. Steel guy and got along with those three, it seems like, mostly because they were the most well known there. The 3 bullies are from another dojo which Tobi was once a part of, but I have no clue why he left other than to become "numba 1". Tobi was pretty strong until he collapsed. I don't quite understand what makes Zeo so weak. If it's just the way his beyblade is put together why not just make it better? Is he the type that doesn't have innate blading skills and have to work 10x harder to get on the level others (even the jobbers) are at? Tbh, I have feeling it's his heart; it's not connected to the soul of his blade (a building??) since Tobi mentioned it to him being as, if not more, important than skills and power alone. I noticed that Zeo felt like a third wheel to the trio and I have to wonder if that and his weakling status led him to the dark side. (Probably.) Next ep is about Zeo and we're still not at the tournament fights. Looks we're getting all the Masamune stuff done at once, thankfully. Plus villain(s) reveal and a Ryuuga. |
