| Watch part IV then part V. Part IV is a soft reboot and V is the direct sequel, although yes, you can skip parts. Parts I-III are ok but the old style might make it harder to watch. Once you fall in love with the characters, the older stuff will be easier to watch. For the movies, there is the obvious masterpiece The Castle of Cagliostro, which was directed by Miyazaki. After that try "Episode 0: First Contact". After that you can just search for other Lupin movies that might peak your interest. There isn't really an order besides watching by release date...there isn't a wrong way to watch Lupin (except for not watching it). |

| First part is necessary. It's only 23 episodes and it's a must see because it is where characters first meet and are introduced. After that you can choose whichever season you want and skip anything you wish. You can skip old parts 2 and 3, although they are good, too, and go for modern seasons like parts 4 and 5, movie trilogy or Fujiko spinoff season. Also there is a damn ton of various movies. Which are worth watching? All of them. |
