Oh Licht, he just wants to do everything himself. The guy he's fighting is no pushover compared to many of the others he's faced in this show.

Also kinda noticable is Jail's relationshp with his adoptive father. Well, I guess this show is trying to develop his character more. Felt bad for Hina and the others being tortured :<

Nice battle, Jail seems to have been defeated. Does the count go back to number 1? I just want to say that Jail is very cool, even though he fights against his father but he does not leave respect for his father.

All that changed during that incident, sad episode. I don't know how father's feels when he is left behind by someone he loves, revenge is not everything, we must be strong in dealing with something, maybe this episode is the climax for Jail, maybe.

Man this series just gives us more and more twists every ep. Alan’s family being murdered was horrible. His and Jail’s bonding moment/fight was very powerful and made me love them both even more.

Schermann’s betrayal was particularly hurtful considering all those class A episodes we had. He never changed. He was always hiding who he really is.

Hina and Co. fumbled the bag there at the end with dropping the dragon ba.. I mean original ballot. This sets up either a Doan v Jail fight or a Licht return next episode to save them. Can’t wait, loving all these twists and reveals lately. Def my fave ongoing show.

Hina ruins everything and the Jail/Alan stuff was nice i guess

but my lawd, just 3 more episodes of this...the overempahasis of the sound effects is getting too annoying, the visuals getting worse does not help. but i must endure

Jail returns back to Alcia to report to the playful adopted dad of a supreme commander, only for him to take Licht's side and wager his stars. The fact doesn't change 300 years then and certainly now.

The backstory of him a.k.a Captain Alan, was certainly more tragic than anyone would've thought. But the battle was certainly over, knowing Jail's stricken stature in the midst of the situation.

Back to the continuation of last week though, the Ace-experimented Doan has more than figured out the group's endeavours into the past with Nana's help to alter history (that failed). And all that, has been Major Schmerman's background hidden work, right from the get-go of the military school being a cover for his true purpose.

If things couldn't get any worse, the Original Ballot has to show up, changing the tide tremendously. What will be the Pele, Hina and Lynn's fate, and will Licht ever regain consciousness?

Only 3 episodes left to go...what kind of story plot will it send us with.

Quality wise, this is the worst episode the anime have so far. WTF??? Not only the art/animations quality is bad, but even the music placement also bad too. Like, what the hell is the musics used in some of Jail and Alan's scenes (As if the animation wasn't bad enough), and the lack of music for their supposedly emotional scenes? I'm not even sure why they put much more efforts on animating Douan's gravity effects than the character's movement. Oh god, this episode is definitely OPM2 level of awful.

Back to main topic, why are they skipped this short scenes about the soldiers hate Jail? It may not important for the last few episodes, but this scenes does served it's purpose and built-up for the later chapters (Season 2's contents) when "something" happened.

They skipped some details and the explanation why Alan even left his house for work despite it could lead his children getting killed:

Not sure why they removed the child dying scene from Douan's flashback when they laterally showed Alan's children being killed earlier. I hope they will show this scene later on instead of skipping it:

As for the preview, Douan being tsundere while narrating aside (Yeah, he is indeed a tsundere lol), are they trying to adapt Ch. 33 to 35 in the next episode? Because I saw Chapter 35's title being written at EP22's preview. That would be a bit too rushed if they really do that.

I'm not even sure where will the anime ended anymore. When the anime started airing, I thought they will adapted the first 28 chapters (Ended at time travel arc), then the second opening showed Rihito vs Douan fight which I thought the anime will ended at Ch. 35, and now the next episode's preview looks like it'll be even further than Ch. 35. Don't tell me they wanted the anime to ends at a huge cliffhanger (Ch. 39) where

21 episodes in and this show is still consistently shit. The animation was awful this episode especially the Jail/father fight scene was laughable. Everything is so clunky, the story, character animation

Like, Backstory wise, it was really good in this episode. Having said that, what was with them just out of nowhere destroying the roof of the building, looked unrealistic. The pacing felt weird to. Last episode, I remember Hina and others getting onto their horses and next, they magically appear on top of licht unless I missed something. Also, what the fuck is with Douan's eyes. They look like a fucking gecko. is this an artistic choice? Does he have lizard blood like Zuckerberg? What the heck? The show itself keeps getting fine plot twists but the animations, music, and fights do not look too great. Despite how cringe the comedy is in the show, I did enjoy the little moment between Jail and Alan. But this anime has not been doing too well.

Doan is insane! If he finds out who is Hina's mother he will chill for sure.

The whole backstory part was truly great and was probably the best part.

Pretty sad for Alexandru who lost his kids to some desperate man who probably could have taken the food without killing them...

Hina sucks. Obvi.

Lynn has become stupid, too. How unfortunate.

Don't understand Jail or his fight with daddy. "I will fight to protect Alcia but I'm going to fight my daddy who also is fighting to protect Alcia!" Wut

Rough that his children were murdered like that though.

Weirdo ace guy was actually a good guy? Well, not really. Only briefly did something nice.

Obvi Pudding isn't dead.

This season probably doesn't have a "final" ending, does it? So close to episode 24, but feels much farther than that from an acceptable, somewhat tidy ending. Bummer

We finally know Alan's past. Very cruel. I really liked the father-son relationship he has with Jail. Why Nana and Sonohara abandoned those who obviously need protection alone?

I wondered what the reason would be that Schmerman is evil now. Him being evil was the obvious reason which makes no sense though, since he also acted nice in the past when no one from class A was around...
