| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ranban's backstory is tragic. But they are a rather one-note villain otherwise. At least the first season of this almost over and then I can drop it. They have good ideas in this show but somehow it's just a really mediocre older anime. |

| Gender confirmation? What? Strippers-R-Us? What? Also, Ranban killed off the entire royal family and Mito was fine with it so long as Ranban ruled fairly? What the heck is going on? Lastly, the guy who saved Masatsuki has the absolute Christopher Walken impression, but it’s so out of place and absurd that it wrapped around to be just fascinating. |
