Also interesting is the presence of drums, an instrument that I think deserves more attention. Those drums looks pretty dope. |

| For all the talk about how a drummer needs to be able to play well with the group, shouldn't they have... actually played together once before deciding he was the right person to join? It's not like it could have turned out any other way, though. I am impressed with the animation for the drums (as a non-drummer, so I'm no specialist). They're doing a good job of showing what each of the characters is like, too. And now I know where the name came from. Muse Asia has the rights to simulcast an English sub, so if you live in the right part of the world you can watch it on youtube. If not... you'll have to find other ways. |

| Yeah, if the drama is going to continue to be portrayed this way, I'm all for it. While most of the episode is serious, it never gets too dramatic. I like the subtle piano bgm, it really suits the vibe of the show. Honestly, this episode really brought a smile to my face. Banri's whole first impression was very interesting, because like most of the band members, I was taken aback by how he introduced himself. But Ren, as usual being the one who thinks a bit differently from everyone else, didn't see a problem that Banri wanted to be part of the band for future profit. And it all made sense, the reason why Banri wanted money, and how Banri got so good at drumming in a short time showed that he does have passion for music. Basically, wanting money and enjoying something isn't mutually exclusive. I love that they created a character that could be controversial but overall, still likable. As usual, Ren is the MVP. Well, and the cafe owner, too LOL Once again, the pacing feels a bit fast, but it didn't make me enjoy the episode any less. The last part where Banri brings everyone to his house, seeing the beautiful night sky brought such a calm yet happy feeling. Now that they have all the members, the story truly begins! |
