| Hey guys, I've been recently playing Honkai Impact 3 and getting into the series including this anime, but there is something I want to ask and I don't know where to ask but since people who watch this probably fan of the series might as well try to ask here. so the first time I heard about Honkai Impact 3 is around few years ago from my friend who play it, but after that I never really hear it anymore, and I just only play it recently since I'm finally upgrade my phone. I gotta say the game is really solid for a mobile game but here's the thing. the game keeps get recommended as top mobile game but is Honkai Impact 3 really popular? I feel like not many people know about this series despite being a solid and recommended mobile game. so does anyone know about Honkai Impact 3 popularity and is the series really popular or not that popular? especially compared to other mobile game/series. |
| It's quite popular actually with revenue constantly enter top grossing list. It just that because of the ARPG nature where you need to manually did everything and the heavy requirement to play the game which something that make old phone cry and explode. But now that the game have PC port those who are just having old phone can finally rejoice. |

I mean the game were aimed toward anime fans yet I never really see posting like talking about the game, sharing of cosplay or fan art, or just basically mention it. hell even here there is no any info or news like "this anime is based from Honkai Impact" or "Honkai Impact gets a short anime" something like that. especially if compared to other series for example like Azur Lane or Girls Frontline many people know about those series and I can see post about it at least once. so it's like Honkai Impact 3 popularity feels secluded, like if I ask someone about Azur Lane their respond will be " Yeah I've heard of those" while if I ask about Honkai Impact their respond will be "Hmm I feel like I've ever heard of it" things like that. and I found it even more intriguing when I learned that the IP(like the characters or the lore) were already around since 2012 with the game called Gun Girls Z, but like I said not many people know about this series till now including myself I guess. |
