| Hi there, I was advised to watch the first and 2nd series, and then the 4 movies and go on to watch the rest of the series from there. However, in this series, the team seems to be at odds with eachother and I remember Tsubasa asking Misugi "Who is that?" when seeing Karl Heinz Schneider despite having played against him in the previous movies. I also remember a part where Pierre (whose black hair has turned to blonde in this series) saw Misaki and said "Are you Taro Misaki?" Despite also playing against him in the previous movies. Are the movies set after both series? It was kind of confusing because the movies were released between 1983-1986 but this series was released in 1989. Thanks! |
| it doesn't. it's an alternative setting. As you already know watching the first anime or reading the manga is a must, this is the same story with different conclusion :/ |
