The LNs are on a break since last summer because the author is working on another series. But there is enough material to animate a whole season and a half.
The studio is working on season 2 of Goblin Slayer right now, but doesn't have a release date yet. Goblin Slayer was released 1 year before Cautious Hero.
Cautious Hero should get a second season after Goblin Slayer does.

lmao my opinions changed drastically, but not because of season 2 but just changes in preference. they're all good in their own ways

I believe = No chance in hell.

Reason; The anime adapted 2 volumes but the third one is too brutal in my opinion to even animate. I don't know sh*t about the sales and I'd love a second season but I just can't see them anime the third volume. That one was nuts.
@Azuchi its more hardcore than made in abyss? We,ve got children disnenbered and made into living cardidges.
After that i think there is no limit what can be animated.

@Vairloff Hmm, well if I remember correctly. The third volume has nudity, gore and r*pe. Which would probably fit better in a hentai or at least a heavily censored anime.

I moved and a lot happened irl when this aired so I somehow missed it. Really enjoying it now though, shame about season 2 not happening.
