Yesterday, the anime was lodging itself comfortably with a score of 8.28, but after the last episode, it made a leap to 8.39 review score. Do we have a relative explanation for that ? Simply curious honestly, I do think it actually deserves such a score btw.

Kind of incredible when the anime only began at 7.42 after it's premiere (Not mentioning the gate keeping it had because of Netflix ...)

When people finish an anime their scores will matter more than people who haven’t finished it or only watched a set amount of episodes.

Same thing happened with the Pokémon sun and moon anime, it was in the upper 6s until the anime finished and it went up to a 7.21 or somewhere around there.

Map puts more weight on people who finished an anime.

It's actually because this season is over and people who didn't score this anime are doing it now, wouldn't be surprised it it gets in top 100 anime rank.

when an anime finish airing the people who scored while watching only a 1/3 of the anime (if i remember correctly) isnt going to count so a lot of people who dropped Beastars in the first few episodes and scored it with a low score isnt going to count now.

Many people don't rate ongoing things until they are finished. Beastars has just finished airing and here we are, giving our final scores

Yeah, the other more important part is that people who dropped the show after watching less than 1/5 of the episodes don't have their scores counted once the show's completed. Most shows get a score bump at the end because of that. If the finale's bad then maybe not.

Ok, I understand what the system is going for :) Good to see this system encouraging people who actually finished it than the contrary !

Btw downvoter bots and 1-score troll reviews have already been popping up so probably score will be lowered a bit

It means anime finished airing and some people started to rate it, while other people just started watching it.Expect rating changes in next 1-2 weeks.
