| I would say no. The movie is based off of the 5th volume of the LN and even currently at the 16th volume I wouldn't even say that the ship has sailed. Lots of teasing, lots of progress up to this point, but nothing definitive as of yet. And never forget that it's Konosuba and the series could simply throw all of that progress over board at the end just for the lulz (that's what I'm most afraid of). Until there's a definitive positive conclusion to Kazuma's and Megumin's relationship I try to not get my hopes up too high. :/ |
| Not yet anyway. I do not expect the ship to advance though since it is not a romance anime, and it seems Kazuma seems closer to Darkness. |

| @GreenClock Then everything should be fine shouldn't it? The romance didn't come out of nowhere after all. ^^ And its subsquent development isn't rushed either if you're worried about that. :) (at least according to the LN) |
| @Pit93 Not that I have any problem with it, tbh. Much for the contrary, the development was indeed steady and well constructed, with quite a bit of pleasing/funny character interactions. This movie rushed some little things a bit, but I was satisfied with what it presented in the big picture and as a set-up for the next season/movie/OVA. |

| tbh I don't really know who to ship with kazuma anymore. It's always been Aqua but after seeing this movie I wouldn't really mind megumin that much anymore. Or even Yunyun. I'll just go with kazuma x sylvia No truly I really liked Sylvia and I hope she is somehow still alive just like wiz and vanir. She is quite interesting. |

| Honestly, I'm more inclined towards not having any sort of romantic development at all. Sure it might be fleshed out and all, but doing so would (maybe) cause a lot of drama and a point of no return, which is something that would be bad for a comedy like KonoSuba. Point is, the show's best point is the comedy and adventure. Any more would either make it or break it. |

| Honestly I could see just about any ship aside from Kazuma x Aqua, they are bros 2DaEnd ....Although if a ship sails, it'll definitely be the Megumin ship if I had to guess |
