| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was a pretty dark final episode, much more so than any of the others. I would guess she will be let off or at least given a shorter sentence. Guess we'll never know... Overall I actually enjoyed this series, though for sure I think the earlier episodes are the strongest. There are also a few stinker episodes too but as a package there is more good than bad. Every episode kept me engaged for the just 25 minutes required. I think my favourite episode was about the Dad living in remorse for his past. He probably got off lightly really but when the daughter talks about letting him stay with her I will admit it made me tear up. I think my least favourite episode was probably the News reporter, it was just a weird episode and was also the first one where the animation quality (not that the show had great quality to begin with) began to slide. Anyway not an incredible series but I liked it and gave it 7/10 which might be a little generous but given some of the low scores I've seen for this it honestly surpassed my expectations. I guess its somewhat uniqueness made it stand out in my mind. I've seen well over a thousand Anime at this point and Human Crossing gets extra points with me for just offering something different. So yeah 7/10 though probably closer to a 6 really. |
| Sure that it was more serious than most other previous episode, especially that it didn't end as good as the other, but it was still pretty just like the anime overall for how it reflects some issues in the Japanese society and just social issues overall |
