Heh I knew it. Akira isn't the type to back down from any challenge but I felt like he overestimated his opponent. That was such a fast takedown against him that I almost laughed.

There's a clear gap between him and certain characters in this show. Hope to see another decent rugby match coming soon.

When did chess infuse with Rugby? Strategy, you mean?

Looks like Riku has a rival in the books, once that involves a long (but actually short) history. Once in chess, now in rugby.

Akira got involved with the Captain of Riku's rival team, that was pretty much a pre-empted attempt for a friendly. If anything, his usual overestimation cost him greatly, but he picked up a good fit for a fight.

So now the next match becomes a match of strategy vs. sport. Akira and Riku would have to do well to work together to bring down his rival team.

Even though he got knocked down, Akira hasn't been deterred at all. If anything, he is enticed by the challenge.

Hopefully, they'll come up with a way to win.

Looks like we'll get to see an amazing match in the future with Riku and his rival. That guy gave me the creeps. I guess that in a sense Akira is inspirational in the fact that when he lost to that captain he didn't give up but got the courage to try again and again.

Imagine losing a chess match and then going onto a different sport all in order to surpass the random dude who defeated you, well I guess it is understandable from Animura's perspective to be humiliated when losing from someone who doesn't even like the chess game
