So, that is probably not the case, either they will cut a big chunk of the story out, or the more logical reason, this will probably be a somewhat seasonal anime series. I'm trusting Hiroshi with this one, he is a phenomenal director :) |

Well, that would indeed be pretty long. But, hey, HxH 2011 was made, and that just kept getting better in visual quality. Though that was kind of a miracle. So I guess will just have to wait and see :/ But like you said, HxH staying up to quality was a miracle, because of exactly five things, a director that is really experienced with long running anime, a really good character designer/ chief animation director that kept all the corrections and frame limits in check, an amazingly healthy schedule and great management throughout, and finally a reaaaaally big amount of in-house key-animator, honestly at that time Mad House was one of the biggest studios in-house staff wise, add that to all the freelancers that Koujina brought, and BOOM!, you got an amazingly consistent long Shounen :D This project sadly has non of those things beside great staff and a very talented director, like @yastin said, lets hope it is seasonal, for the sake of quality, I really want to see what was in the PV consistently :) BUT, if they could pull 100 episodes consistently "somehow", I'm down for that, but it would definitely be a colossal miracle. |
