You're breathtaking!! random person on the internet, be nice to people, so they can be nice to you... OH, And shit-post, that's always the answer...
And thanks for checking out my profile, it makes me happy or delighted in a way that my memeness is being noticed (≧_≦)
I'mma keep it real with y'all, I don't have a top favorite anime or manga of all time, I love all equally, attention to one series can make you ignore the greatness of others, so the solution is to give every anime/manga an equal chance to display their potential :3 Oh, and don't base my lists to be 100% me, most aren't updated, and they only have a few of what I actually watched/read, and they are mostly following my general enjoyment and not actual critical view (some do tho)
Also, if you want to ask me about a certain series that I don't have in my anime/manga list or is PTW, most likely I have already seen it, I'm just too lazy to add it or even change it, and the PTWs are mostly anime I have already seen but planning to re-watch, most of my lists are only stuff I have started to add seriously since late 2018... I also might organize this Bio crap later on when I have free-time cause I'm too stressed and busy right now ಥ_ಥ
****too lazy to make a new graphic, so here's this instead
Plus these good flex quotes, 'cause sleep deprived:
“Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in a while, or the light won't come in.”
― Isaac Asimov
“You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant.”
― Harlan Ellison
“If someone isn't what others want them to be, the others become angry. Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
“All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others.”
― Douglas Adams, The Salmon of Doubt
“It's okay to disagree with the thoughts or opinions expressed by other people. That doesn't give you the right to deny any sense they might make. Nor does it give you a right to accuse someone of poorly expressing their beliefs just because you don't like what they are saying. Learn to recognize good writing when you read it, even if it means overcoming your pride and opening your mind beyond what is comfortable.”
― Ashly Lorenzana
"Someone can`t like or hate a show just from objective perspective, there is something in someone`s favorite show that tickled their pickle if you get me. A concept, an idea, something that gives the watcher anxiety, sadness, pain, a good laugh, happiness, depression. But on personal level not an idea that reaches everyone. For example you can relate the anime you're watching with an event in your life, like, your grandma died, and you watch Summer Wars, it will give you a warm felling. It will create a connection between the watcher and, not someone, but something intangible."

"If you call someone a monster and repeat it every day, he will become one"― ―The Pygmalion Effect
“When you tear out a man’s tongue, you are not proving him a liar; you’re only telling the world that you fear what he might say.”
— Tyrion Lannister
++Ask me if you want to know anything about a certain anime production or general production process of animation, especially related works to WIT/I.G Production, Toei Animation, KyoAni, Bones, Mad House and A-1 Pictures, I may not know everything but as a 6+ years Sakuga veteran at the least I know more than most people :P
I don't think you have the right to call any show shit in a Dragon Ball Super review while giving it a 8 out of 10. Unless you are doing it to entertain people like the clown you are lmao
Apologies for the delay is response. I had exams and then i was just lazy to open MAL.
Starting from the bottom of your message. I think i need to grow a bit more as a person before watching the evangelion movies. I watched the anime and did not feel much only to realize it was not an anime to be watched only. So i plan to fully understand the history of the title and give it a re watch and move on to the movies after i am done with my degree. As for the violet movie, those of my friends that watched it said similar stuff that has had me on ropes. I read a news today saying the movie will be released in Blu ray on Monday !! Really hyped. Im hoping it comes to Netflix soon ( that is if it is going to come )
Please do tell me your thoughts on "I want to eat your pancreas" when you are done with it. And thank you for letting me know, about the director. I never searched ( now realizing i should have when i claim to love the franchise this much )
If anything, i shall be more adept to look into the directors at least on MAL if i find the work great. ( Like denpa onna i watched recently had a really amazing direction that i took for granted only because it was shaft studio )
The story about A1 is a big tragedy. And tragedies are all part of life and business. I do understand long running anime with consistent animation is a hard task and if someone asks me about any examples i know, Gintama will probably be the first. The amazing smooth fluid and well directed sequences and animation for such a long running show was amazing. Is amazing. And yes, secondly it would be HxH. But im quite surprised that trouble was there even for such a show inside.
Finally, the links you shared. Since i took out the time, i went ahead and checked them all out. I was just blind blown by the detail and effort i realized went ahead in making it all. I read Washi's blogs. A couple of others from his main page too while being engrossed in it. I actually feel super guilty for looking at animation so superficially. And to think all i have seen is the tip of the iceberg. You have my great thanks for sharing them. They were a very interesting read. Glad i reached out to you !!
Yeah, I don't know why the hiatuses are surprising to regulars of this site. I often leave for months on end, especially when the people here get entirely too toxic for my liking. And like you said yourself with your hiatus, I have my life to live as well. Lots of things going to be bothered with appeasing others on certain platforms, especially when I have no need to use it at any given point.
I fucking suck at replying. Sorry, completely forgot this site existed for a few weeks. >_>
Glad to hear that! I remember you went on a prolonged hiatus and always wondered how that went, stoked to hear it turned out for the better.
MAL: yep, I hate this site. Speaking of, one of my many entries was finally accepted the other day!
Just a picture that I probably uploaded MANY months ago, but hey.. progress.
I respect the taste, a bunch of classics. I wish I was that cultured during my PS3 phase (too much of a zoomer for the earlier versions), I unfortunately just sank thousands of hours into Skate 3. And big F to your PSU. that was something that I was deathly afraid of when building my PC. I think I built it a year ago this month, and I'm still rocking a 1050 Ti because I haven't been able to find a cheap GPU since. Bottlenecking my poor Ryzen 5 3600, but yeah, there's been a draught for SO long now. Honestly, Facebook Marketplace is your best bet for GPUs at this point. Somewhat of a risk, but far outweighs the alternatives as I don't think supply will ever meet the demand for a while.
Hey man!!! It's been a tough tough period for me too: I had very bad results in this first university year and things in my ""family"" are very toxic, but I'm glad you were able to pass this horrible year and I hope you can have a great year coming up ^^
What you did is impressive and even if we don't know each other in person, I gotta say I'm really proud of you ^^
It's been so long ahhaha I messaged you on Twitter sometimes and I was getting worried if you were ok. Glad to hear you've been working on your priorities, very proud of ya
I would definitely love to be shared material with involving knowledge about the craft. feel free to share any yt vid or source article or news, i will be sure to take my time and invest in it properly.
I often heard a news back in the days that fairy tail was a project to be made only of 50 eps. But due to its popularity they went on. The first 50 eps are kinda decent. Yet afterwards it felt as if the whole team was not even putting in the effort. As if they did not like fairy tail itself. This made me very sad. I do not know the real back story, but like you often feel the love and effort of the staff behind a project, i felt zero from FT. Except the music of course.
And ahhh, you too. A1 focuses too much on SAO because it makes good money in japan makes me feel such a bias in them that....it is just like you said, i personally was a big fan of seven deadly sins. Season 1 was okay but after season 2 when i realized the show was more than what i thought it was, i was so invested in it and so in hype for season 3, that when i heard they gave it away broke my heart, not to mention they gave it to the studio i hate the most. And after a disappointing season 3, i who does not prefer to read manga when anime is available went to read the manga despite knwing season 4 will come. ( manga was amazing tho as expected )
And i havent seen Persona 5 but hearing from you, it totally feels something A1 would do. I t has a very bias attitude to the shows it makes. Not healthy. And despite being so good, they mostly mess it up.
And thanks again, for the profile, hopefully you get the time to set yours up too.
P.S, a violet themes list would look damn cool.
Koe no katachi was amazing, had it not been for pancres, it would have been my top fav film but nevertheless it is still a 10 by 10 for me. GIven the nature, no wonder it must have helped through in tough times for you. As for chunibyou. Another amazing show, one that i fell in love with too. One that explained to me all about what i was going through my childhood and that i was a chunibyou kid all along. still might am. And as always, animation and execution was damn good. Kudoes to Kyoani, and they really did great not letting that tragedy get to them.
It has been a hot minute. I'm doing great, I hope you're doing well yourself! I should probably update my list here, but I wouldn't be able to add much since I would need to add 100+ works (mostly one-shots) and god knows how long they would take to be accepted.. bless AL. I'm also on my annual game binge, absolutely addicted to FF14 and basically dropped all other means of media while I grind :P
The good news is that I have stockpiled 2 months worth of manga to read. Fuck.
While pen and paper takes and require alot of effort, the result they give is splendid. { sakuga fanatic banzai } i personally only started recently to take interests in stuff regarding animation etc but indeed, i really really feel like respecting those who put in that touch that was needed. The beauty of animation and the charm is something i learned properly after watching "keep your hands of eizouken"
The blend of 2D and 3D is something i always imagine to be the perfect answer to modern anime. Hailing over all else giving a perfect smooth yet visually acceptable animation and finally i hope the future can overcome the fact on how a bad animation butchers a story. I bit you luck too. As for that smoke fact, ima observe more, that seemed interesting.
So yoshihara himself was a black clover fan, that makes so much sense now. Also, i wasn't aware of the full story so extend my thanks for it, no worries on a long message. It must have been damn hard ngl. As they showed in shiroubaka the stress and tough schedules in an anime are fought for, im amazed he did that. And just like you said, the best thing was, he did it all for a long running shounen. These shows always get the short end of the stick so it felt really good to see finally some justice being met. My personal favorite anime, Fairy Tail in this category was butchered only because of the animation. I will never forgive A1 for what they did. So literally kudoes to yoshihara.
And thanks alot for the profile opinion. I recently just changed my layout to make it more compact and presentable. I hope you find the right time to get to set your profile the way you want. It does seem like a sleazy job and i have been there myself so relatable.
Fairy tail and re zero are a special thing to me, while monogatari is hands down just a masterpiece for a franchise. The writing is something i dream off. Kyo ani follows my list of top 3 fav studios after wit and mappa. There animation is just hats off.... plus i love how these studios have made a personality for themselves with the stories they animate and the themes.
And ahhh, the next wave of covid news is already draining energy. my next semester hasnt even started but i can see it going down all cause of this if it happened. And thanks for the wish, ima hopefully nail it.
an amateur animator, sounds interesting. What sort of art style or media/theme are you working on ?
and ye, ever since black clover, i think he's getting the needed spotlight. I too am not well versed on authors and creators and least of all animators but his work in black clover made me want to search the man behind the scenes that amazed me. To me surprise, i found bunch of other shows he worked on parts that caught my eye specially, such as sket dance etc.
and that was indeed a fun and weird profile. I just have the habit of calling everything i like or everything weird as elitist, don mind.
and no worries for the delay in reply. I myself am someone who usually takes heck long to respond. And that semester thing, i can relate, i was going through exact same thing 3 weeks ago. on a holidat rn for exam prep which in one week so... ye, tough life. Especially ever since corona messed up the whole system. Nothing seems to go the way it is supposed to.
Yo it’s been a really long time! Glad we can chat again, though I have long left twitter.
No worries, I’m happy to hear that you’re doing better now. I can relate with college trouble, makes me lose the will everyday 😭
Feel free to always contact me if you need someone to talk to.
I’m alive. 😅 been an unproductive and dull summer and it’s already almost up without me doing things I wanted to, both hobbies wise and personal matters. But ‘tis life.
How you starting off your internet rehabilitation?
