Man, I feel like the stakes in this show goes up with every episode. Seems some teams/players in this series is taking the competition way too seriously though.

you know, for a high school, rugby team no less there's quite a lot of audience present

as for the match, well at least it was better animated than that practise match was

but the way they tried to show off that silent dude was so silly lmao. Couldn't hear him walk by from a fair distance, and bumps into him at a blind corner, "NANI!? SIRENTU WALKINGU? NANTEKOTO"

Soran is doing good so far, but this new team that they've never heard of just crushed one of the big three like they were nothing. We didn't get to see their strength, but Soran will soon be going up against them.

Can they handle them?

The tournament arc, probably the 1st and the last long stretching one.

First game for them is just sweeping the fodder under the rug. Underestimation is the name of the game that is costly, and Akira and Riku are working heads on strategy and tactics, along with the rest of the team.

Well, it's great when one of the big schools compliment but with harsh feedback that could make or break their run. Furthermore, with more rivals this is the only way that this anime has a plot going for it, their prowess only known once they see it.

Their next opponent is one of infinite proportions, like a game of chess to checkmate.

How would Riku and Akira intimidate this out?

Arimura and Tenkawa seem to be one dangerous combination, particularly that Arimura guy who seems like a cunning strategist. The way they're going they will be a threat for the Akira/Riku duo, since they seem to operate the same way!

This was a great episode. In my opinion, I think this anime can better if they keep it up like this. The emotions portrayed in this episode were way better than the beginning episodes. The animation still needs a bit of work but it's still good. Glad I chose to not drop this anime.

The match this episode was a lot better animated compared to the practice match against Sekirei, not that the bar is set high or something...

Another duo appears and by the looks of it they are a much more dangerous duo than Riku and Akira
