Seems like they are jumping over a lot of stuff feel like war games could of been 2ep minimum 3 max but ended in 1 hope they dont skip as much for whats to come

Yes, the war game could and should have been two episodes. You cant just skip 2/3 of the final fight of the arc...

And they also skip other things in previous episodes, and even in this one. They handled V6 quite bad, lets see if this last 8 eps are all for V7 or if they plan to animate V8. If they do adapt V8, well, this will be crap.

God, Ushiwakamarunishiki doesnt even exist here. And yes, Welf shouldnt be allowed to name his weapons.

It wasn't that bad . It expanded on some interesting things. We also learned about Soma more and his whole familia situation . And more about the gods

I'm actually pleasantly surprised that the War Games arc is over already. With the siege format I was prepared for it to be a long and dragged out ordeal.

The first domino was when they wasted no time in resolving Lili's situation and I'm glad Apollo was dealt with just as quickly. He was an effectively annoying antagonist but also pretty one-dimenensional.

It's especially refreshing when compared to some other fantasy series I'm watching this season that so far have had painfully slow pacing and stagnant progression.

It is not you. It seems the answer to cutting of major plot points int he first season is to ignore it, rush through the second season, and hope nobody notices.

look what they done to DAL III. they literally cramped the enitre volume into single episode

and this Haruhime arc is one of the longest volume in the series with more than 300 pages (the usual is 250-ish) let's see how much they will butcher this arc

you are right the pacing is dragging and we are already on ep6 and the season 2 has only 12 eps, so not much going on in this season sadly...

What did everyone here expect I don't get it. Many adaptations this season had an awful pacing. If you've been here long enough this is nothing new and will happen times and times again. Investors gotta take that cash there's no helping it.
