| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Tomato was pretty annoying. A little to dumb to be interesting as a main character. But we have a character called Slump, an early version of Suppaman and I guess Tomato can be seen as some kind of prototype Arale even if they are not that similar. |
| Tomato the Cutesy Gumshoe. I do like the gag resolution quite a bit, countering the "Don't move or they die" situation by doing the same thing is amusing on it's own, but the fact that it actually worked and ended with an ant collection contest was funny. Nothing before that worked for me though, so while I prefer it to Wonder Island 2, I'd still say I only really enjoyed the first one-shot so far. |
