| Well, here’s the breakdown of the previous three Seasons: Season 1: 25 Episodes, 33/34 Chapters + lots of Anime-Original Stuff! Ratio b/w Chapters : Episodes = 1.32-1.36 Season 2: 12 Episodes (25-37), 16 Chapters (34-50) + bits and pieces from Ymir's backstory so about 17 Chapters or so. Ratio b/w Chapters : Episodes = 1.42 Season 3 Part 1: 12 Episodes (31-49), 23 Chapters (50-73). Lots of cuts and changes for this Part though, thanks to the creator’s insistence and support. Still a little pacey compared to the previous seasons. Ratio b/w Chapters : Episodes = 1.92 Season 3 Part 2: 10 Episodes (49-59), 16 Chapters - Ymir Backstory (73-90). Action-oriented first half and an info dump (with many omissions) in the second half. Ratio b/w Chapters : Episodes = 1.60-1.70 Shingeki no Kyojin: Lost Girls filled in with some of the little un-adapted Chapters of the Manga + some of the side-stories if I’m not wrong, so do gave that a go if you haven’t already. Now then, to the actual question. Original source material, that is the manga, is soon to end and considering that the Final Season is coming in Fall 2020, that could mean that the manga will end sometime around Spring 2021 at the latest. If so, it would end at around the 135-140 mark. As such, 50/1.5 = 33.3 Chapters. 1.5 and not close to 2 Chapters per Episode like the latest Season 3 because what’s to come will be very heavy with dialogues and the sort. A safe bet would therefore be around 30-36 Episodes although somewhere 24-27 Episodes are possible too if the manga ends at around the 130 mark. |

| Based on how they adapted to the manga so far and how the story progresses it is extremely likely that we will get a 24 season 4 with perhaps an extra episode 25 to show how life goes on after the finisher. It is also highly possible that we will get 30+ episodes depending on how much of the stuff is important to keep for the overall plot and how far the manga goes. Based on season 3, season 4 can also be split in 2 parts, A and B from which both contain 12 episodes each. I will be sad if it is only 12 episodes, that means that it will leave out a lot content. So I hope it will get a proper anime ending and finisher while not butchering up the manga. But I have faith in the studio, so far the anime felt quite complete. Sure some details are missing, but it doesn't hinder the overall story progression and plot. |

| It is sad to know that it will be the final season, but considering that they announced it already as the final arc, it must be a promising one to anticipate. |

| It will likely have around 25 episodes, likely not around 30. It's good if they condense stuff as well. |

| I'm actually surprised to hear this is the last season. I was hoping for at least 2-3 more. But everything is dependent on how many episodes there will be and if things will get condensed down. I think my real worry is fitting everything into 1 more season. I guess we'll see. |
