The existing film is a Pathé Baby version created by reducing the 35mm original (three reels with a total length of 732 meters, lasting 35 min. at 18 fps) to a 9.5mm film. The one on the national film archivesof japan is actually the short version released in 1931 cut from the actual short movie, that's why it's pretty confusing @KeizerKuzco posted one that is a bit longer and less confusing but I really wonder why they didn't put the actual 1927 version since they seems to possess it as "35mm internegative owned by NFC" under "Source of Digital Copy" is written. |
