| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another good episode. Now this is a girl Kaori should resent instead of Saeko for using Ryou. lol When Saeko uses Ryou it's for justice, this girl just used him as a stepping stone, and she did it very well. xD It was also nice that it was a case from the past, Ryou and Makimura weren't even partners yet, it was definitely another time. A pity Ryou didn't share the story with Kaori, it's a good one. |

| I lost it at the accordion MIDI song at 02:42 the fact that MIDIs were state-of-the-art at the time feels so out of place because we use MP3s now lol Comment 02/03/2024, first series rewatch: I feel like it's a bit ironic and somewhat meta that Hideyuki mentioned that you can't suppress a revolver, even though Ryo has literally been doing that the entire series. The Nagant M1895 revolver is the only revolver you can externally suppress because the cylinder moves forward as the action operates to eliminate cylinder gap and use up any pressure produced by the cartridge to give the bullet a higher velocity. Ordinary revolvers like Ryo's Colt Python don't have this feature in their designs and thus cannot be externally suppressed. Just gun nerd stuff. |
