| Having now slowly managed to smash myself through these less-than exciting episodes of this anime, i can finally say; i watched it all. What happens in the first 43 episodes is just pre-school excitement kind of garbo and when the series get some actual semi-interesting plot it's over. the animation was really bad at times, the monster-of-the-week was defeated within 1-2 punches, and the magical girl transformation/attack in this anime was so reused i couldn't believe it wasn't a magical girl anime. in short, i felt it was garbo, walking through these 51 episodes was hell, then i go watch the OVA and THAT- that OVA! it's effing amazing! if this anime had been even half of what the OVA was in terms of seriousness and animation, then heck, i would have been hooked. as it stands, i'm just glad to put this series behind me and move onto something more interesting and exciting, like Sailor Moon or something -.w-. |

I heard the original Manga was a completely different story that's closer to the OVA in tone. |
