| Dragon Ball Super: Broly in fantastic. The animation of the fights was some of the best I have seen. Certainly the best in the entire DB franchise. Dragon Ball Super is great too, even technically superior to DBZ with its best fights such as Goku vs Jiren. Super gets a lot of hate from fake DBZ fans who watched DBZ once years ago when it was on toonami and are blinded by nostalgia, however Super objectively brings some of the best fights to the table. As for Super returning, I'm not sure; as I've heard rumors both that it wont return and rumors that it will. lol who knows |

| Super is confirmed to return. I loved the Movie and i am a big fan of the Series. So im pretty glad this movie made so much cash for them and gave them a big reason to continue the show. The question is now whether they will continue directly with the next Arc from the Manga or whether they will retell the movie again, like with Battle of the Gods and RoF. Edit://Also the release date is not confirmed because it was not an official announcement. i think it will be back in summer or fall this year since its in pre-production how do we know its coming back? Toei Animation was showing it off at the NATPE to potential licensors. They had it in their catalog among Saint Seiya and some other stuff, essentially what this means is that they are arleady working on it and have not officially announced it. And i can not wait to see the next arc because the villain is pretty damn cool. |

Everything in Super is just terrible retcons, bad plot, bad characters, troll baiting, bad villains, bad animation in most episodes, shit pacing and lack of emotional scenes. All the characters' images are flushed down the toilet. When a show is over, is over. Everything that started it have to finish someday. Nothing lasts forever. We must grow up. And it's ironic that you are talking about nostalgia. A true DBZ fan have two options: hate Super or tolerate a lot of mistakes. Do you remember Dragon Ball AF? Well, Super is that but just worse. Sure it's a cash grab I wont argue that but it is at least a consistently better show than DBZ was. Beerus is a better character than anyone introduced in Z. Zamasu and and Jiren are better villains than anyone in Z bar Namek Frieza. SSG and SSB are better transformations than SS2 and SS3. I could go on forever but you've already made your decision to dislike Super just like the other toonami fake DBZ fans. My advice is to actually try rewatching DBZ for the first time in 10+ years before discussing it. Mod Edit: Removed insult. |

| With the huge success Broly probably was I highly doubt they would stop milking the franchise. The movie ended in a way which made a sequel very certain. However I dont really see Brolys place in a future series, he worked for a movie, or maybe 2. But as a real character in a series? Well I just realized Super has no real characters nor plot anyway, so who cares. Throw him in.
