| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, I want to thank the subbers for being so fast! :O I checked once and then I checked again two hours later, and the subs were just uploaded. I think this story is simple and sweet in its own way. When Naruse and Asumi were having sex, we saw Asumi asking Naruse if the latter felt pain while being fingered, and then Asumi continued after Naruse said no. So, I like the communication and care there. It's important for both parties to know they're on the same page. It sucks that the mothers badmouth Naruse behind his back. If they know or think Naruse's ex-wife/Ichika's mother was violent, then there's really no need to say that out loud. They're lucky Ichika didn't come out of kindergarten and heard that... :/ So…it seems the mothers isolate Naruse, without acknowledging how tough it is for him to be a single parent who’s doing his best for his child. I like the honesty here. Naruse was honest about not wanting Asumi to get badmouthed by those mothers either, while Asumi doesn't care about their comments. It's nice to see Naruse being loved, since he's busy with work and devotes the rest of his time to Ichika, so he didn't really have time for himself before Asumi arrived. I enjoy the sweet ending theme song, and the images <33 It's just nice to see Naruse so at ease and seeing him with Ichika and Asumi. |

| Dang, forgot to watch this yesterday... Well, it's not one-sided anymore, that's good. Just wish there was more of the kid, he's in each episode for like 5 seconds. I'd say this was the best episode so far. |

| The one site I found that had it subbed gave me the 'error: file could not be played' message, so I watched it raw. I feel like this show could have potential as a decent yaoi if episodes were longer and it had opportunity to build, but I'm not sure they would do it right even if they had more airtime. The tropes are strong with this one, and it has an incredible degree of ridiculousness too. Despite that, I believe Naruse is the sexiest dad I've ever seen. Also this episode was probably the best one so far. That ending was adorable xD |
