Warning. Contains spoilers.

I've just finished the series and I am lingering with this concern and so I'm writing it here wishing for clarity.

Of all the characters in this manhwa including the three mains, I sympathized and felt most closely with the Pink hair girl (Baek-something... I'm not used to Korean names.). The plot is nothing new, rich girl with parent issues who didn't receive the love she needed, and I'm okay with that--it's okay because we were shown directly the existence of Black hair girl (team leader), acting as close as substitute family. The relationship-building, the narratives of the two were I thought very nice and rendered warm feeling to the cold & dark backstory in contrast.

I could understand the reason for breaking up and not being able to reconcile, but I was just particularly disappointed in how Pink hair girl never received justice through the end (and was she planning to hang herself??). For the love of God she did her fucking best at everything, tried to get on everyone's good sides (she never talked back to the family but once in the end), became successful through her own merits, carried Black hair girl's life, turned down inheritance... basically fulfilled everyone's wishes even as to play along with those stupid marriage set ups. Was an okay-enough-ending not okay enough to be given for her?

I also think that she's not really gay, she's not into any women in general, since she could once do it with some guy (though drunk) and never played around with other girls (don't even get me started on how Black hair girl just kept adding coal to the fire before ending up with Blonde hair girl. I just couldn't tolerate.). It wasn't clearly stated who started the relationship during high school either, but it was always just Black hair girl that she wanted right. Now that the author took that out of the picture, what could have been a better ending for her? Is there anyone here who shares the same thought?

I do agree that Seju deserves happiness more than anyone in this series since she suffered the most, she bears the guilty for hurting Sumin and even endured the pains from "Sumin's revenge", it's kinda hard to say if she's 100% lesbian or nah, but I believe she's a total lesbian but she can only accept Sumin as her lover, and that affair she did with guy, tbh it was more like a rape, you can see it in one of the chapters before last chapter, Seju completely lost her senses when she's drunk, and about why she never in relationship with other girls, I think it's pretty clear that she felt unworthy of happiness after hurting Sumin, and besides, she still loves Sumin, Sumin always came back to Seju whenever she broke up, I think she believed that one day Sumin would completely back to her. And btw, the one who confessed first was Sumin, she did it in her last year of high school when Seju said she'll study abroad, Seju kissed her afterward. You can find it on the side-story, it's one of five stories that have been planned (though, it's kinda rushed and ended without any meaningful conclusions), the side-story discontinued due to the conflict of Team Gaji with the publisher, it leaves 4 stories that haven't been released, one of it will tell the story when Seju intended to commit suicide and a women named Do-Won appeared, I think there would be a development between those two, though I really ship Seju with Nami, Nami's in love with her ever since long ago, they would be a great couple. But whatever it is, I just want to see Seju's happiness, she deserves it. I hope Team Gaji can continue the side-story someday (the possibilities are almost zero, though)

Well, there's good news. The side stories have been resumed. And it won't be long for the fans to read the highly anticipated side story involving Seju and the new girl, Do-Won.

Out of the three main characters, Baek Seju is the one most intriguing with her complicated upbringing. I could empathize why she tried so hard to cling onto Sumin. After all, that girl was her light in the darkness - the one that made her feel true love and happiness, something which none of her family members could provide. However, while their relationship may have started off sweet and innocent, there were signs of it being toxic and unhealthy, mostly due to Seju being too possessive of Sumin. Even if Sumin's parents hadn't died in an accident and Seju didn't have that drunken one-night stand with the bartender, I reckoned they would have still broken up one way or the other.

Sumin and Sungji being together might be the best thing for her, as she can finally move on, living her own life and dream. I don't know exactly what the author intends with this new girl. Will she be Seju's new lover or simply a friend whom Seju can finally trust for the first time? Regardless, I'll be hugely satisfied if Seju could enjoy life again and find the closure she needed.
